Celebs' Philosophies to a Quick Slim Down after a Quick Weight Gain

You're always hearing about how the movie stars put on an extra bunch of pounds for certain roles, or lose them in three months for the next. Rene Zellweger had to bulk up for Bridget Jones, and get rid of them for another movie the following year, Chicago. How are they so quick - slim today and curvy tomorrow? What kind of exotic diets and food habits do the celebrities have, that help them bring their weight up and down at will? Let's look at a few of the most admired women celebrities who pull weight miracles all the time.

Rene Zellweger isn't really tall - she is an inch short of five and a half feet. When Bridget Jones' Diary came out 10 years ago, the whole world couldn't have enough of the miraculous 20 pounds she put on for the movie. She said in an interview that she really liked what it did for her bust, but had to give it up because her voluptuousness was a little too much for glossy magazine covers. To give up all that weight, the Me, Myself and Irene hottie, took to the Atkins diet. To make it easier on her body handling the stress of losing all the weight, she made sure she took away the fat in her diet, and saw to it that she got her beauty sleep. Add to that a regular appearance at the gym every day, to prepare for Chicago, and you have her formula for a quick slim down right after an equally impressive weight gain.

Drew Barrymore, is a touch on the petite side, even more so than Rene. And everyone loves the soft innocence she's had ever since she was a child star. She never spent a minute of her life away from the spotlight, and all her weight gains and losses have been accurately chronicled by the gossip magazines. And Drew has made the best use of the world's involvement with her weight, by taking on kick-ass movies like Charlie's Angels when she is down with karate lessons, dancing and blistering regular workouts at the gym, and doing soft romantic numbers like Never Been Kissed when she isn't. The second movie, by the way, is about a woman who tries to prove to the world that curviness, is just as attractive as a chiseled body.

Ashley Judd manages to always look in movies like she just stepped out of a short workout - her hair always seems fashionably mussed up, and she always seems to have worked up a light sweat. She was on People magazine's list of most beautiful people in the world twice, and she has the personal discipline to for it. Ashley trains with the same trainer who works with Muhammad Ali's boxer daughter Laila before a fight. That's what she does to work herself into shape before an action thriller like Kiss the Girls or High Crimes. Her diet is mostly vegetarian, and she shuns dairy. And of course, a natural inclination for sports like mountain biking and mountain climbing do give her that special edge.
